The Jedi Order Rankings

Ranks and descriptions below:
Rank Up Trials:
Everyone who is skilled can expect to eventually be promoted to Jedi Master. However the ranks above Master are for those rare few who excel above and beyond what we would expect from a Jedi Master. These ranks typically come with admin privileges and other responsibilities attached to them. They are not ranks designed for everyone to attain. With all that said, advancing to the next rank will require 10 duels in both force fighting/saber dueling or 20 duels in your specific expertise of force fighting or saber dueling against a couple of higher ranking members. Win/Loss record isnt everything but does count for something. After that your record will be submitted to the Grand Master and/or Jedi Council to determine if you have proved you are ready for a rank up.


-=JEDI ORDER RANKINGS=-

Grand Master of the Order
Highest rank of the order. This rank is responsible for setting up training materials, oversee/help with practice, give tips, etc. They also are responsible for helping keep the flow of things and settling disputes within the order.  Has the ability to take on a Padawan leaner.

High Council
This is the 2nd highest rank of the order. This rank will be designated to a person who exemplifies the teachings of the Jedi Order while also possessing exceptional skills. They also have a slightly larger vote than the rest of the council and help maintain order during any meetings. Has ability to take on a padawan learner.

Jedi Council
The members of the council are Jedis who have shown good decision making skills, good battle skills, Jedi teachings, and will attend meetings to determine changes if any made to the Jedi Order. Has ability to take on a padawan learner

Master
Jedis of this rank have shown a strong understanding of fundamentals related to their area of expertise and also good fundamentals in all fighting modes. Good attitude, good skills, and a willingness to teach those under them. Expected to take on padawan learners.

Knight
The Knight is a Jedi who has shown good growth and potential to go even further. Once you have attained the rank of Knight you are allowed to declare a focus of study and take on a different name to declare your study focus:
     Consular(Force Fighting focus)
     Sentinel(Both)
     Guardian(Saber Dueling focus)
Expected to study with and take on padawan learners.

Padawan
Has good potential but lower skilled or completely new. Passed Initiate trials, expected to show good attitude, openness to learning, and will be drilled in every aspect in the study of the force and saber. May get training with the highest ranks but can expect to train with Knights and Masters.

Initiate
Lowest rank of the Order. Initiates are expected to learn all aspects in the study of force/saber but are on a trial basis. Will need to pass trials consisting of time spent making sure youre a good fit and a duel test to determine your starting rank within the order.(The duel test will be 5 or 10 duels of your choice in both force fighting and saber dueling. You dont need to necessarily win, just show what youve learned and your will to compete.)
