Return to active duty

I took a mild absence from JKA as it seemed at the time everyone else was too, but now I have the itch again I thought I'd start slow, and hopefully what I'm about to suggest will inspire/motivate you to join me eventually

It has already been suggested that the clan could begin organised weekly routines at some point, to help confused newer members, and anyone else caught out by the occasional lull in activity that occurs in Jedi Academy from time to time.

In the spirit of this idea, I will be playing Jedi Academy every Friday evening for as long as I can manage, aiming to introduce some players to JSO. Basically, I'll be hopping between populated servers, diving in and enjoying gameplay, and anyone with me can do so as part of the clan (talk to me via message here, or Steam to join). This is just a casual suggestion, but the more that join me, the more positive attention we can get, which can lead to more effective RP sessions on Saturday, and more intense Tournaments on Sunday (those days are just example).

Thanks for reading. If you have any constructive ideas or suggestions by all means feel free to comment - hopefully with this we can bring back hours of fun once again for those of us who still enjoy one of the best Star Wars games out there.

I agree and back you 100%. Yes, Spring and Summer, imo; are the most diverse-dynamic time period of activity... Vacations, summer jobs, preparing for school-college the next year, lots of factors for people.  But also the time were younger people (kids-teens) are actually more active. (summer vacations) I will do my best to be on Friday-Sundays MAINLY - but some during the week days too. I haven't been on the server much also as we've discussed over Steam AEth, due to MAINLY the fact I/we (my family) are currently moving out / moving to a different house, that with working on/off and attempting to stay in good shape year round has managed to keep me very busy. But once we are settled/moved in to our next home, my personal activity will be increasing exponentially again. Just some current inconveniences. However; beyond that, I've also been inactive due to the fact it seems like / I've noticed many times it is just Raiden, myself, or You AEth, that are relatively the only ones "consistently" active. Not calling anyone out by any means! Real life comes first! But I, maybe we (assuming AEth has noticed as well; from previous conversation) that there ARE times when we do see/notice other members-students on Steam either playing other games or just Online. Obviously I/we can't-couldn't and won't-wouldn't want to force activity on any members, it's a video game, it's meant to be fun and enjoyable! I/we would just like to see more activity - or at least an attempt at activity; like AEth seems to be suggesting with the arrangement of meets-events-etc, and I agree.

Yup. I ain't gonna lie. I did get hooked on Arma 3. Part of a realism unit that actually makes it very immersive, therefore making it extremely enjoyable for me and i now got hooked on it. In all honesty, I got tired of coming on and being the only one on for countless hours so i just started to give up and relieve my boredom by just playing other games. In a way, this was my "break" and I can still come back to it almost every day. I just get so drawn in by countless friends telling me to play Arma with them. But yeah, I will make more of an effort to come in and be on...... even though it may mean being alone in the server for almost the entire day.

I can't blame you mate, my brother and I are getting into a few different games lately as well. Plenty of friends asking us to play Planetside every now and then as we're part of a large outfit.
I don't expect every current member to act on or even read my posts but maybe...? Who knows, Friday night/weekend JKA could become a thing ^_^
